How do I get free searches?

Free searches can be accumulated by you recommending FundBase to your acquaintances and friends.  When they register and say "Referral from existing FundBase client" and enter your registered email address, you will get a free search credit.  This can be claimed when you next buy searches.  For greater details, see our Instructions.

What kind of results do I get?

After you enter your details you will be given a shortlist of the funding programs that suit you.  There could be none (see our guarantee), through to twenty, ideally you would get about five to choose from.  The information you get includes the program details, eligibility requirements and contacts. This is enough information for you to decide that the program suits you and you can download their guidelines ready to apply.

The best way to improve your chances of success in securing funding is to be well planned.  Whether you are an individual, business or not-for-profit organisation you need to put in writing your goals and objectives. Out of this will fall your shortfalls in finances, on which you base your search for funding.  This funding goal drives you when you are searching for the right funding program and applying for the grant.  Do not fall into the trap of chasing grants that come along.  There is a lot of funding out there and you need to be strategic about where you put your resources.  So don't waste them on chasing a grant that looks good but is slightly outside your funding need.
