WASHING MACHINE REBATE LAUNCHED
A $150 rebate for 4.5 star washing machines has joined the suite of incentives available to NSW householders through the NSW Climate Change Fund Residential Rebate Program to make their homes more water and energy efficient.

FRRR HELPING HANDS
The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal manages Helping Hands, a program that offers grants of up $50,000 to benefit people in rural and remote Australia. Not-for-profit organisations can apply for projects that offer clear public benefit for communities.
 
Applications from communities with a population of 10,000 or less will receive preference. Multi-year funding applications will be considered.

ENTERPRISE CONNECT
This federal government program provides a free business review with an experienced advisor to identify areas for improvement. A second stage of the program allows the firm to apply for up to $20,000 in matching funding to implement the identified improvements.
 
To be eligible, firms should have a minimum turnover of $2million. Smaller firms may be eligible if they apply as a group with common attributes. Eligible firms include exporters, food processors and wineries.
