EXAMPLE; So I have now narrowed down all the funding options to six that could be ideal for my cricket coaching day. In total, these grants give me access to hundreds of thousands of dollars of possible funds for my project. I now need to narrow this further to find the one ideal fund.

Supporting the capacity of community organisations and groups to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queenslanders in their local communities. One-off grants with rounds closing 4 times per year;31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December. Standard projects include: provision of equipment associated with the activities of the organisation special one-off events and activities community development and organisational development minor capital works motor vehicle purchase costs. If your project meets one or more of the following criteria it may be a complex project:
- it is a partnership between two or more organisations
- it covers a wide geographic area
- it will bring substantial benefit to a whole community
- it trials an innovative way to deliver services in the community.
Organisations who are eligible to apply for a GCBF grant must be:
- located in Queensland;
- a community based not-for-profit organisation;
- incorporated;
- unincorporated (with incorporated sponsor);
- or a Minister approved community support group; a
- and applying for a grant that will provide benefit to Queensland.
